Map of Rome Airport (s)

Map of Rome Airport(s): With these three maps you can view Fiumicino Airport's parking and Terminal layout, and both the Rome Airports relative to Termini Station.

Ciampino Airport Rome is where most of the low cost European airlines land. Rome International Airport (Fiumicino Airport) takes the lions share of Air Traffic and handles all the International air traffic to Rome.

Map of Rome Airports relative to Termini station.

Use the tool below to get distances and directions from either Rome Airport to any address in Central Rome (or anywhere in Italy).
Note: For the Airports you can type either "Fiumicino Airport" or "Ciampino Airport", for street addresses include "Rome" at the end i.e. "Via Firenze 48, Rome". Sometimes you can also just type in the hotel name and Rome i.e. "Aberdeen Hotel, Rome".

Travelling between Fiumicino Airport and Ciampino Airport:

There is the Atral bus (run by Cotral) that runs from Ciampino Airport to Fiumicino Airport however this service is only available during weekdays and between the hours of 11Am to 3:30Pm. Price is €5.
From Fiumicino Airport to Ciampino Airport the service is also only available during weekdays and between the hours of noon and 4:30Pm. Price is €5.

Outside of these periods there is no direct connection via public transport between the two Airports in Rome, the only direct option is with Taxi between the two Rome Airports.

I have never had to do the trip before but from what I have heard the taxi fare could set you back anywhere in the vicinity of 50 Euros. Unfortunately there in no fixed fare (like there is with Ciampino, Fiumicino Airport and Rome city center) so you are at the mercy of the taxi drivers.

If you don't mind an additional 40 minutes onto the journey then you can save yourself at least 30 Euros like this:

From Ciampino to Fiumicino

Take a private shuttle bus from Ciampino Airport to Termini Station. Cost is between 6 and 8 Euros, and travel time is about 35-40 minutes. At Termini station take the Leonardo Express train (11 Euros, travel time 30 minutes, direct connection) to Fiumicino Airport. Both legs are quick and hassle free. Voila!

From Fiumicino to Ciampino do the reverse of above.
