"If you're looking for a nightmare go to Nizza Hotel. Definitely it was the worst holiday I've ever had. The TV set showed only trash ads; No hot water. Dirty ***** and blood stains on the towels. The reception guy Ralphie, can make you cry, he is a brutal savage who yells at the guests. It's a shame on Italy still holding such hotels...."
"We've just returned from a holiday at the Nizza hotel Rome. The staff of the hotel were hostile, and even tried to attack us physically, after cursing and yelling, not only in Italian, but also in English, by this Indian guy, Ralphie. Our only sin was expressing annoyance about the state of our room, cockroaches all over the place, no hot water in the shower, no air-condition. They behaved brutally..."
"Camillo Hotel: We expected bed and breakfast, but instead found ourselves in a 4 bedroom shared apartment. No phone service. Breakfast wasn't always served and our room wasn't always cleaned. One shower was broken and the hot water only lasted 10 minutes, making it impossible for more than one person to shower. The bathroom was full of mildew and dirty. There was none onsite, so we were on our own. The manager, Silvia, was rude and unhelpful."
Unfortunately Hotel reviews for Rome like these are not uncommon! Hotels which have received complaints about cleanliness, staff efficiency, friendliness, faulty air con, smelly bathrooms, poor breakfast etc. have been gladly left off our 3 star central hotel in Rome list.
